Heatshield Products N54 Lava Turbofold Blanket

A must for anyone running upgraded inlets or outlets.

The first volcanic rock turbo heat shield and still the reigning champ in performance, fit, and quality. Our Lava Turbo Shield was designed for and tested to manage heat on the most hardcore turbocharged racing applications. Lava Turbo Heat Shield reduces turbo lag while protecting other engine components and reducing under hood temperatures.

We make these heat shields right here in the USA using our 30 plus years of manufacturing experience. We use internal hems on all our turbo shields. While this may not be as easy to sew as outside hems like other shields, it gives our turbo heat shields additional strength and a much cleaner and professional appearance. This turbo heat shield has also been redesigned for a tighter fit on the turbo housing, along with a larger openings for center housings discharge pipes to better fit on the newest generation of high-performance turbochargers. 

This Lava turbo wrap has a rugged outer layer of our Lava Shield material that is 25 percent stronger than comparable fiberglass shields, giving a longer life span. The business end of this turbo heat bag is our Inferno Mat, silica contact layer makes Lava Turbo Heat Shield™ capable of withstanding 1,800 degrees F continuous. We use our exclusive BioCool inner insulation which gives our turbo shield a much cooler cold side temperature compared to OEM metal shields. The precision-fit design of this heat shield turbo wrap means you do not have to trim or fit the heatshield blanket to your turbo housing, making installation a snap. These shields will for both traditional and v-band turbo compressor housings.

Refund Policy

Core Refund Policy

We require a core deposit for all remanufactured turbocharger(s), meaning we ask you to send back your old turbocharger(s) in exchange upon receiving our upgraded versions. This deposit ensures that we receive your old turbocharger(s) in return. After installation, you or your mechanic may return the core to us within 60-days of receiving your upgrade for a full refund. If you wish to keep your stock turbocharger(s) then we will keep the core deposit fee amount.

How to Return a Core

Please package the core securely, using either the original box or a new box. To receive a full refund, all cores must be returned within 60 days. Cores received after 60 days may incur deductions. Once your returned core passes inspection, we will issue a refund within 10-15 business days.

Inspection & Refund Eligibility

All returned cores undergo a thorough inspection. Refunds may be denied for any core with visible physical damage. Common issues that disqualify a core for refund include:
- Bent or broken components
- Damaged or cracked housing
- Seized or locked parts
- Missing or damaged wastegate

The buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Unused and uninstalled parts are eligible for return within 30 days of the purchase date. A 15% restocking fee may be applied to all returns and canceled orders. Please note that custom-made turbos and parts are non-returnable, and returns after 30 days will not be accepted.
