Core Policy
| Certain PureTurbos products are sold on an exchange basis and require the return of your original turbocharger (“core”). This policy outlines the requirements and conditions for core returns and refunds. |
1. What Is a Core Deposit
A core deposit is a refundable charge applied at the time of purchase for remanufactured turbochargers.
This deposit ensures the return of your original turbocharger, which is required for rebuilding purposes.
2. Core Eligibility Requirement
To qualify for a core refund, the returned unit must match the exact product model specification.
Cores that do not match the original turbocharger model or configuration may be rejected or subject to partial or no refund.
3. Core Return Requirements
To be eligible for a refund:

Core must be returned within 60 days of shipment date

Core must be complete, unmodified, and in rebuildable condition

All cores must be securely packaged to prevent shipping damage
All accessories must be removed prior to return, including:

Actuators
-
Oil and coolant lines
-
Sensors and fittings
4. Core Return Timeframes

0–60 days: Eligible for full core refund

61–90 days: Eligible for partial refund
-
After 90 days: No refund will be issued
5. Core Condition & Inspection
All returned cores are subject to inspection upon arrival.
Cores may be rejected or partially refunded if they are:

Cracked or severely damaged
-
Missing major components
-
Seized or internally destroyed
-
Excessively corroded or contaminated
-
Not matching the original supplied turbo specification
6. Return Shipping

Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
-
Original shipping charges are non-refundable
-
Tracking and insurance are strongly recommended
PureTurbos is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
7. Refund Processing

Refunds are processed after inspection approval

Please allow 10–15 business days for processing

Refunds are issued to the original payment method
